Court Reports#
FrameCounsel's report generation system produces professional, court-ready documents that synthesize your analysis into clear, compelling narratives backed by timestamped evidence references. Every report maintains full evidentiary integrity with chain-of-custody citations and hash verification.
Report Templates#
FrameCounsel includes purpose-built templates for common defense work products:
- Forensic Analysis Report - Comprehensive technical analysis of video evidence with findings, methodology, and conclusions
- Contradiction Summary - Focused report on discrepancies between police reports and video evidence
- Timeline Narrative - Chronological account of events with frame references and source citations
- Brady/Giglio Disclosure - Structured identification of exculpatory and impeachment material
- Expert Witness Report - Formatted for submission as an expert report under FRCP Rule 26(a)(2)
- Suppression Motion Exhibit - Evidence summary formatted for suppression hearing filings

Custom Templates
Create your own templates in Settings > Report Templates. Define sections, default content blocks, firm branding, and formatting preferences. Custom templates can be shared across your team through the workspace settings.
Embedded Evidence References#
Every claim in a FrameCounsel report is backed by a direct reference to the underlying evidence. References include:
- Video citations with source file name, timestamp, and frame number
- Transcript excerpts with speaker labels and confidence scores
- Screenshots embedded directly from bookmarked frames
- Contradiction flags linked to specific report-vs-video comparisons
- Hash values for every referenced evidence file
References are hyperlinked in digital formats (PDF, HTML) so readers can click through to the exact moment in the evidence. For printed reports, references include human-readable timestamps and exhibit numbers.
Jury Presentation Export#
When preparing for trial, export your analysis in formats optimized for jury presentation:
- Slide deck - Auto-generated presentation with key frames, annotated screenshots, and timeline graphics
- Interactive timeline - HTML-based timeline that plays synchronized video at each event
- Comparison view - Side-by-side display of report claims versus video evidence
- Annotated video - Export video clips with overlaid analysis markers, captions, and highlights
Presentation Mode
Press to enter Presentation Mode, which displays your analysis full-screen with a simplified interface designed for courtroom projection. Navigate between findings using the arrow keys.
PDF Formatting Options#
FrameCounsel's PDF output is designed to meet professional standards for legal document production:
- Page layout - Letter or A4, portrait or landscape, with configurable margins
- Typography - Choose from court-standard fonts including Times New Roman, Courier, and Century Schoolbook
- Headers and footers - Case number, page numbers, confidentiality notices, and firm branding
- Table of contents - Auto-generated with section links for documents over 10 pages
- Exhibit numbering - Sequential exhibit labels following your jurisdiction's conventions
- Watermarking - "DRAFT," "CONFIDENTIAL," or custom watermarks for working copies
Configure defaults in Settings > Report Formatting and override per-report as needed.
